The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the NEET 2021 Counselling dates at mcc.nic.in. On January 19, the NEET counselling registration procedure will begin. The first round of counselling results will be announced on January 29, and applicants must report to their assigned institutes between January 30 and February 4. There will be four sessions of counselling, which will end on March 12 and be followed by institute reporting through March 22.

Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen or an Indian Overseas Citizen.
Age Requirement: The candidate must be at least 17 years old at the time of admission, which must be on or before December 31, 2021. The upper age restriction for admission under the All India Quota is 25 years, which is relaxed for SC/ST/OBC applicants for 5 years.
Qualifications in Education: Candidates must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology with English as one of the languages of study and a minimum of 50% in the PCB group to be considered. There is a 10% relaxation for the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC); thus, they must get a minimum of 40% to be qualified. Aspirants taking the 10+2 exam in 2021 may also appear provisionally if the prerequisites are met later on.

Candidates with a score higher than the NEET cut off percentage are eligible to participate in the admissions process. The NEET cut off differs depending on whether the applicant is from a reserved or an unreserved category. The NTA has established the standard NEET cut off.
